COWLEY CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2019

NOW on BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY August 26th

Cars have come a long way since Henry Ford offered... "any colour as long as it's black" ... come and join us in August and see how many of the rainbow's colours you can spot amongst our our exhibitors' vehicles.

We hope to have an electric and hybrid vehicle section this year, although most exhibits are fairly recent they possibly represent the future. With cities around the UK threatening drastic action on pollution, especially from diesel engines, elctricity may be the only way forward if we want to drive in city centres. Please bring along your electric or hybrid vehicle and let the debate continue...

About Us

The Rotary Club of Oxford Isis membership is drawn from all walks of life; we are inspired by our mantra of "Service Above Self" and the concept of putting back into to society and community some of our countless years of experience. We enjoy spending time together and we also enjoy doing things for other people, in combining the two as our annual car show shows we can engage, entertain and serve.

We are a registered charity in our own right and all the profits from the show go to our chosen charities a list of whom can be found on subsequent pages. Below are some pictures of our club members past nd present enjoying a brilliant day out at The Cowley Classic Car Show.

Cowley Classic Car Show

Bank Holiday Monday 26th August

Cutteslowe Park, Harbord Road Oxford

Every year we try and make the show bigger and better, and this year is no exception.

For a start we have moved the show to Bank Holiday Monday 26th August, so that we can celebrate the actual 60th anniversary of the launch of the Mini.

As part of this celebration there will be a convoy of 60 Minis from the Mini plant in Cowley to Cutteslowe Park set to arrive at the opening of the show at 11.00am.

In addition to over 200 classic vehicles on display of all make and ages, there will be free vintage bus rides around Oxford plus all sorts of attractions in Cutteslowe Park.

These include electric go karts, laser clays, childrens rides, a fun dog show and much more including food and drink and a range of stalls selling a variety of items.

Details of the show, which is a charity event organised by Oxford Isis Rotary Club can be found on the website – www.cowleyclassiccarshow.org.uk

Entry is £15 for families, £5 an adult and under 12s are free.
